  Played a significant role in the definition and delivery of our architectural roadmap. Gained initial experience acting as a Product Owner.

  Currently delivering order-of-magnitude improvements to our CI/CD processes and providing technical leadership on the usage of Containers & Kubernetes.

  Sep 2018 - Today

  Systems Engineer at RM plc, Oxford

  Joined as a Graduate. Undertook an exploratory project on the potential applications of Machine Learning within our business and contributed to a whitepaper on the topic.

  Identified and implemented process improvements as well as cost-savings in the areas of monitoring, security and cloud spending. Provided technical and architectural leadership on a variety of projects, working closely with customers and vendors.

  Oct 2016 - Sep 2018

  Spent time in Hawaii & Fiji during my gap year
• 
  MEng Electronic and Communications Engineering at the University of Bristol

  Completed a Masters degree at Bristol Uni and achieved a First Class Honours.

  Found a natural inclination towards communications systems and programming - performing strongest in these areas.

  For my thesis Subflow Scheduling in Multipath TCP I explored the performance impact that packet scheduling algorithms have on an experimental networking standard. This involved implementing the algorithms in a C++ network simulator and developing tooling to visualise the results.
